Why it is important to start with the why!
Why we do something is our motivation, our motivation. Because we do the work we do. Because we don’t have the diet or the life we want. It is natural to say that if you have not learned to operate in a certain way in your life, then it is difficult to change. Yes, but not impossible.
Now you know that motivation alone is not enough. You also need to have the discipline in yourself. But first you have to find your why, your motivation. So you can then discipline yourself and get it done!
The way to find your why…
Find your motivation with 3 easy ways I’ll tell you. You will definitely need to take the time to do this. Pick a spot that inspires you and grab a piece of paper or a notebook. Try to answer the following questions as honestly as you can. Besides, don’t forget that if you don’t, the only person you’ll be cheating is yourself.
1: Think about how you would like to wake up in the morning and how it would be an ideal day for you.
Record as much detail as you can. Where you are. How you feel. You are alone or with a group. Write down everything you can think of.
2. Stop overthinking.
It is normal with the fast pace of everyday life, sometimes we get distracted. To start a process and never finish it because we started something else. When you start a process, try to stay focused on it until you complete it. The more you think, the more stressed you get. Take the time you need.
3. Find what fills you with positive emotions.
It is equally important to recognise what in your daily life fills you up or drains your energy. Once you discover this, you can either add more of what makes you happy. Or, remove what drains your energy. If you notice it, you will certainly discover a pattern there. Then you’ll be able to change it.
Finding our why, our motivation is a process that takes time. Give yourself time to discover what you like. It is never too late to change our preferences, our wants and our needs. Don’t be afraid to try something you’ve never done before, as long as you know why. Try doing something you’ve never done before, as long as you know your why.
