For the development of the next generation SteamPod, we reached out to SteamPod 3 users
in order to observe how they use it on their hair.
In addition to these qualitative tests, which included individual observation of more than 60 SteamPod users,
SteamPod 4 was also tested by L’Oréal professional hairdressers at every stage of its development
initially from the prototype to the final model.
For more sculpted curls: the new metal curl guide
To give you the ability to create tighter curls, we’ve added a metal guide to SteamPod 4
around the perimeter of the device, and we adjusted the heated plates to ensure a smaller and warmer angle
that gives a more sculpted shape to the curls.
Styling for every hair type: a set of 3 steam-optimising combs
We have chosen three combs of different sizes that ensure better diffusion of the steam on each type of hair
but also allow you to create any look.
For optimal performance in both straightening and curling, the comb aligns all the hair strands so that the hair is in the right position
and ensure a more disciplined outcome.
The three combs have different numbers of teeth – thinner or denser teeth, so the user can choose the ideal comb
for her own hair type.
