, a leader in the field of beauty and the hairdressing industry for more than 110 years, successfully organized the first holistic personal, business and financial empowerment program
of women in the industry, Be your Best.
This project was implemented with the support of the organisation
Women On Top
, with the aim of further training, familiarization
but also develop the entrepreneurial skills of women in the sector,
in order to develop their personal and professional future.
The Be your Best programme includes two series of seminars, one aimed at all women in the industry
and one specifically designed for women entrepreneurs in the hairdressing industry:
More than 300 women, entrepreneurs in the hairdressing industry and workers in the industry,
attended the 3 web-based day seminars organised under the first module.
The courses focused on the theme of women’s personal empowerment and were experiential and interactive. They were offered free of charge by L’Oréal Professional Products to all women in the hairdressing industry and were conducted
with the experienced guidance of the Women on Top instructors.
Through their participation, the women were able to further develop their skills and learned how to deal with
more effectively meet the challenges of everyday life.
In the framework of the second module of the programme, an event was organised exclusively for women salon owners
a two-day bootcamp, focused on their business and financial empowerment.
More than 40 women entrepreneurs, from all parts of Greece, with a long career in the hairdressing industry
but also those with newer businesses that started their first steps during the pandemic,
attended the “Academy” at the L’Oréal offices.
Through presentations related to entrepreneurship and financial management, these women were equipped with
with valuable tools and knowledge to help them manage their business more effectively
and confidently claim their professional future.
The presentations of the two-day training seminar, which took place between 10-11 October 2022,
were made by distinguished speakers:

Galini Iliopoulou, Occupational Psychologist and Human Resources Consultant
In addition, Dr. Anna Anastasopoulou, Organizational Psychologist
Angeliki Savvidou, Financial Advisor and founder of Finance Lady
Georgia Tsiamantas, Digital Transformation Specialist and co-founder of “Find Wings”
And finally Mina Misyrlis, Economist and Development Consultant.
Through the respective themes, the women entrepreneurs in the sector first learned how to manage unconscious biases,
how to build and manage a team, how to be creative and solve problems,
how to manage their money, what they need to know about their business finances,
what technological tools are available to help them develop their business,
and ways to take their business to the next stage.

Following the highly successful completion of the Be Your Best programme, L’Oréal Professional Products will therefore continue to
to support with care the hairdressing industry in Greece and especially the female employees and owners of hairdressing salons,
as it has done for more than 100 years.
It will continue to invest systematically in their professional development and training, with focused training programmes
that will follow, because the continuous empowerment of women and the positive contribution to the hairdressing industry
are an integral part of its philosophy.
