Nothing comes alone, everything starts somewhere! And it is good to know the past to build the future!
We see all these technological achievements that have so much made our lives and our work easy, but have we thought about how things were a few 10 years ago?
How did hairdressers style the hair of the women who visited them in beauty salons?
How did they make it permanent in the 50s?
How was the hair dryer made in the 60s?
The technology of the age
Certainly the technology of the time, combined with electricity, played a big role, as it still does today.
But the devices were not the same.
And while the logic may be similar, the same cannot be said for the size of the devices. The further back in time we go, the more large-scale devices we see.
But it is nice to look back on such images and think about how our colleagues worked back then.
Many things may have changed, they may no longer be useful, but these images inspire us, that’s for sure.
Let’s whisper a “thank you”
So let’s look at them with nostalgia.
And let’s whisper a “thank you” to those who work to evolve technology and make it easier for us!

With light, unruly, ”live” hair, we are redefining the view of elegance in hairstyles.

We work in clever quick and commercial ways and make hair.
Curly is a style that we see in many winter collections this year.
Just like in my own collection ”Attitude”.
With bases from the past I design images of today and move on to tomorrow with the aim of beautiful images and even more beautiful hair.
As I rummage through the past my imagination gallops so much to invent technical tools and ideas that I use and step by step we will move this unique art forward!
I love research and it always keeps me creative.
