In today’s text, I will share with you the experience of the show at the National Opera House, an explosion of creativity.

Color your Power, a show that only L’Oréal Professionnel can create.
Undoubtedly, a great event, both in terms of dynamics, quality and quantity.
A number of high level hairdressers, with technical training and knowledge, striving for its realization.

Backstage preparation for the show

The adrenaline is pumping!

When they announced that I was going to do the grand finale at the Lyric, within minutes I had completed the image I wanted in my mind.
Effortlessly, then, the imagination runs wild.

Two shows will be presented by haute coiffure, one with the French collection with haircuts and one with evening styling, a transfer of the French show to the Greek scene for Grand Finale.

Thus, the presentation of the collections will be made by Stamatis Karaiskos and Maria Dretaki.
We divided them up into what we were each able to do.
So Stamatis took over the first show of the line and I took over the second show with the evening hairstyles.
Total 14 models, 4 of the line and 10 in the hairstyle.

More specifically, the preparation started a week ago.
First, the design, the painting and the exchange of ideas.
Always inspired by the French scene, but adapted to the Greek scene.
Incredible journey of the mind and imagination, the kind I love to live.

When you imagine it, then you can do it.

Online meetings for the selection of models. We drew the hair imaginatively on the models. In the hair styling we invested in the use of extra hair, in collaboration with Mr. Angelos Athanasopoulos.

I chose the techniques and combined them with the faces, the clothes and the accessories.

Hair with aesthetics, so dynamic and so modern that every hairdresser can decode it.

The Haute Coiffure line was mainly undertaken by Stamatis. The hairstyle show, me.
It’s true that we stayed up late!
In the evenings we exchanged ideas, rehearsed the hairstyles, and planned every detail.
In other words, great nights of creativity!

In every detail, it was all there, in my head! All that was missing now was to see the images of my imagination alive.

The day has come!

Can all this really become a living picture? Yes!

What is particularly important is methodical and organised thinking, which helps in implementation.
A prerequisite is concentration, teamwork, respect and, of course, proper time management.
All this keeps the calm and efficiency at a very good level.
Stress is of course there all the time, but we need to manage it.

As soon as I finished the last brushstroke, all the stress went away. When all the models were dressed, painted and combed their hair, the joy began to take away all the anxiety.
We are ready.
It was exactly the image I had in my mind, but now vivid!

Really, I had experienced the feeling of success that I wanted to feel.

On stage with Stamatis Karaiskos

And three, two, one…

The ultimate satisfaction on stage.
All like a song, all like air, that made my hands sing and dance magically!
The magical communication with Stamatis on stage confirmed that the hours we had worked together had worked and success was now certain!

The minutes passed so quickly, the flow was so relaxed on stage, so calm without stress, but like poetry, like caresses, like music, that it took away all anxiety and now there was a flood of joy!
Preparation is the secret of success.

The fact is that the Lyric Stage Hall is a truly artistic space and I had the honour of being there as an artist.

Yes, that’s how I want to feel. I look forward and dream of the next time, I am already making it and wish to experience it again.

I want to thank LOréal Professionel for the moments it gives me!
