According to a British survey, 22% of the participants fell in love and even had a serious relationship – marriage – with a person they met at work.

13% found their love online and 10% found it in their nightlife.

Isn’t it logical that in a place where you are more than 12 hours a day and you meet, talk, share common interests, have meaningful moments with some people…in the end you create sympathy, dislike or fall in love?

If you think about it your best friend or your relationship, you see her less than your colleague.

Now if this job happens to be a hairdressing salon, the temptations can be even greater if you have a wide range of clients every day . Clients and customers who may be regulars, so you see them often. Melina Aslanidou had previously fallen in love and had a long relationship with her hairdresser from Chania. While Vicky Koulianou made a passage from the ANT1 series “Hair”, allegedly in love with her hairdresser Tziovanis.

Both love affairs at work and love affairs with our hairdresser are incidents that happen!

According to David Brudö, CEO and co-founder of mental wellbeing app Remente in Business Insider, we work at least 1680 hours a year at the office.
So you can more easily and quickly get to know someone and see both their negative and positive aspects as a person.

And you end up falling in love with your partner. Be careful because I’m sure you don’t want to cause any confusion in your life. There is a way to manage it properly to avoid uncomfortable situations.

Initially a clever idea to slowly and steadily see how it works outside of work is to invite him and some other colleagues to go out for a drink one night or to go out for dinner or coffee after work. Keep the invitation on a general level so that you don’t get exposed at first, feeling bad if the chosen one refuses. Know that even a possible refusal does not necessarily mean that he is rejecting you, it may just come out of the blue and he may want to think about it. You might have given him a problem!!!!

You have to be prepared that some people when they are at work, colleagues to them, are purely colleagues and it may not have noticed you and it may not have even crossed his mind that you and he may be something else. Many times, however, by making the move, you will get him to notice you and possibly be interested.

You’ve shown him a slight interest and now you need to get to know him a little more than just the business side. You need to start a more personal conversation to get to know his life more meaningfully. Don’t look desperate and if the situation doesn’t turn out the way you want it to, don’t be selfish, don’t get angry and generally don’t make a fool of yourself. Always remember that you are and will be in the same working environment. You like someone who you don’t quite know how they are in their personal life and you wouldn’t want your wrong move to be discussed by the whole salon, all the companies you work with and your entire professional circle in general.

Acquaintances and relationships with colleagues should be done properly from the start and only if both are seeking a serious situation.
