Ways to avoid frizz!

The not so attractive frizz is not the exclusive prerogative of curly hair.
There are many ways to avoid it, starting with a good preparation under the shower.

If you ask most women what is the biggest problem they face with their hair,
regardless of their type, they’ll tell you the freeze.
The bad news is that frizz doesn’t make extraordinary appearances.
It plagues our hair in all seasons, both during the rainy and humid days of winter and the hot days of summer.
In good news, yes, there are ways to tame frizzy hair and we’ll look at them together today!

Hair frizzes when it lacks moisture and its natural oils.
When they are dry and dehydrated, damaged and damaged by chemical and artificial operations
such as dye and styling tools, the outer sheath of the hair, i.e. the cuticle,
opens up and allows moisture to penetrate and swell it.
If you have curly hair, which is prone to dryness, frizz is even more pronounced and common.

There are different types of frizz, such as that which occurs only in the outer layer of the hair
(and it looks like static electricity), the frizzing at the top (the so-called “crown”),
over the entire length or at the ends of the hair.

Full hydration at shampooing

If you think you can control frizz with just a hair spray or an anti-frizz styling product, think again.
It all starts with shampooing!
Bet on a gentle shampoo rich in moisturising ingredients and oils, and free of sulphates that dry the hair.
Alternatively, invest in a specialist sanding and anti-frizz product.

After using the shampoo, apply a conditioner that will moisturize, detangle and smooth hair,
closing the scales of the hair and keeping the moisture and hydration inside the hair.

Rinsing and wiping with care

Do not take a sauna shower, because the very high temperature of the water weakens and dries the hair.
This tip will put you to the test, but it’s very useful: rinse your hair with as much cold water as you can stand,
because this is the only way they will resist frizzing during blow-drying.
Then wipe them gently and dabbing, using a cotton t-shirt instead of a rough towel,
and comb them with a soft brush with natural bristles, head downwards.

Avoid daily shampooing

The reason is that when you wash daily, the essential natural oils are removed
that make hair healthy, hydrated and shiny.
Also, instead of using shampoo every time you wash your hair, clean your hair only with lukewarm water and
apply a small amount of conditioner immediately afterwards only on the edges.
This habit is beneficial especially for curly and very curly hair.

Trust the oils

Whichever you choose, it’s safe to say that some of the precious drops on the ends of the hair will moisturise,
will nourish and provide up to 24-hour protection from moisture and frizz.
If you have curly hair, make sure you apply them to damp or wet hair.
Oil on dry hair will make it frizz and look coarse and unformulated.

Freezing, admittedly, is quite an embarrassing moment that can happen to us.
Follow the tips above and let me know if they worked on your hair.
If you are a hairdresser, share this article with your clients.
They will deeply appreciate it!
