Summer has arrived

Summer is here and I have many secrets for your hair…

Is everyone finally in a summer mood?
So as the sweet summer has finally arrived, let’s talk about our hair.
Just as the sun damages our skin, it can also damage our hair.
Salt water and chlorine greatly affect our hair.
The feeling of hair after the summer is hair dull,
battered and have a fried feel to them.
Fried hair is not just a figure of speech.
The ultraviolet rays of the sun actually “cook” the hair shaft,
where the damage is most obvious when the hair is dyed.

Exposure to the sun’s rays causes damage to both the skin and hair.
Swimming is a summer pleasure whether it is in the sea or in a swimming pool.
But salt and chlorine respectively remove the natural oils from your hair.
and this results in breakage and severe dehydration of the hair and skin.

Useful tips to have beautiful hair in the summer.

Your summer can start with a haircut so you can get rid of your dehydrated ends
and you’ll refresh your style.
As we all know in summer hair grows long quickly.
At the end of spring there are more hairs in the regeneration and growth phase than in winter.
Make it a daily habit to apply hair care products that contain UV sunscreen filters.
These will protect your hair from sun damage and help it not to lose its colour.

40 degrees melts the body….the solution is a go to the beach…

If you are likely to spend several hours in the sun, it is advisable to protect them with a wide hat.
Not only will you protect your hair but also your ears and scalp where your hair is vulnerable
in skin cancer.

It is a good idea to apply a little mask or conditioner before you dive in,
so that the hair absorbs as little salt or chlorine as possible.
A shower after the bath is also a good solution and if there is no shower then a bottle of water is enough to rinse the hair.
Because in the summer we wash our hair more often, it is good to choose a good shampoo and a super moisturizing mask.

Say no to hot tools.

It is advisable to avoid unnecessary use of heat tools.
Wrap your hair in a bun or braid at night so that the next day you can have a beachy wave.
It’s the perfect look for weekends or to work with hair accessories.
Hair that is healthy is your best defense against frizz.
Along with regular treatments as mentioned above, one more with two drops of argan oil,
will help you to have shiny and moisturized hair.

So now that the summer has arrived, consult your hairdresser to give you the essentials,
so that you can keep your head looking as great as it deserves.

Have a nice summer…

Yours sincerely,
Elizabeth Makri
