You sunbathe, forget yourself reading your book or listening to your music and stay there for longer than you should. Did you have to sit for half an hour and you fell asleep and stayed for 4 hours? Oh, are you burnt? The first thing to do when you find out is to get out of the sun and get indoors.
If you have been under the sun’s rays for a long time, your skin is likely to be baked. And the result of that, apart from turning you pink, can be very embarrassing and painful. What do I mean? Did you ever burn? If so, you know we’re talking about a pain, a stinging that needs to be treated.
Ways of relief
1.Shower shower shower and shower again. You will be relieved, especially if the water is relatively cold. When you get out of the bathroom, don’t forget to wipe yourself with your towel gently and calmly. Then carefully apply a moisturizer. Depending on how burnt you are, the faster your skin will absorb the cream. Repeat!!!!
2.The moisturizer mentioned above should contain aloe vera, or soy extract, to soothe the sunburn. In cases where there is no relief and the problem is even more severe, apply a hydrocortisone cream, which you can buy from a pharmacy.
3.Ask your pharmacist and get aspirin or ibuprofen, medicines that reduce swelling, redness and relieve discomfort.
4.Like water, it doesn’t. You need hydration. A sunburn sucks all the water from your skin and body. Drink water to prevent dehydration.
5.If the problem is huge and you have blisters, just leave them alone and let them go.
6. Away from the sun and its rays. Until you are healed and back to your white color, the sun should not see the irritated areas at all. So whenever you are outdoors wear light clothing.
