Myths that we hear every day, that are spread by word of mouth and over time have become something of a given reality.
But is it so? Are they valid or not?
In today’s article, we will analyze 5 of the most famous ones and finally find out what is true and what is not!
We start with the first one.
“Frequent haircuts help hair to grow longer faster.”
Basically, I would say no.
Hair is lengthened from the roots and not from the ends.
However, frequent haircuts keep the hair healthy and in good condition and each time less haircuts are needed.
So therefore they are getting longer!
Second myth.
“Does silicone stick the split ends”;
The hair breakage, no it does not come back.
Silicone, like perhaps other moisturizing products, temporarily smoothes the hair.
However, with washing the product fades and fades away, so frequent use is necessary.
We’re moving on to the third.
“Frequent shampooing damages the hair”?
No, it does not affect the hair but the skin.
The frequency with which we should wash our hair depends on our lifestyle,
the quality of the hair and scalp, physical activity, etc.
As a general idea, keep in mind the rule of 2-3 washes/week, otherwise based on your needs.
A quality product in shampooing will help hair and skin.
For all this you can ask your Hairdresser-Consultant for information!
We continue with the fourth.
“If I pull one white hair, will more come out”?
No, but don’t pull them!
White hair is a matter of heredity, age and even psychology.
So therefore, they will not multiply, but it is good to avoid pulling them.
It is very likely that hair will come out at this point that will not curl with anything and will fly!
We close with the fifth and last one.
“Some hands are making hair longer”?
Something I often hear at the salon, that my hands have made my hair longer after a haircut.
As well as that it plays a role in what phase the moon is in when they get a haircut.
If only all this were true and we could so easily control these things!
I’ll leave it to your discretion whether or not that’s true, but if it were true, I’d want my hands to make me rich!
