Either you’ve kept your hair longer than you remember yourself, or you’ve managed to get it longer and now you’re
have reached your target length, now you are at the stage where you need to know how to manage them properly
so you can avoid scissoring, breaking and damage.

I have gathered here, 5 tips for you to keep your hair healthy and shiny!

Frequent Haircut

It may sound paradoxical but long hair needs frequent… haircuts – or, more correctly, frequent
renewal at the edges, approximately every two months.
The reason: if they are left for a long time without trimming, the split ends will not only appear,
but it will start to “climb upwards”, resulting in hair that looks frizzy, “wild”, dull.
Especially now after the summer, your hair is more damaged and the appointment with your hairdresser
for a touch-up on the ends, it’s essential for your long hair.

Proper care at home

Given that long hair is more prone to split ends, especially if you use heat tools,
the products you choose for their care should offer hydration, protection and strengthening.
Your main ally of immediate and intensive action is a specialized range of quality products that will provide care. Get products suitable for your hair from the salon you trust!

No to too frequent shampooing

The frequency of washing is a topic that all hair experts stand on because while it sounds like something innocent,
in fact it can actually disrupt the balance of the hair.
Especially if the roots tend to be oily, it’s very easy to get carried away and wash your hair
too often in order to deal with it.
What ends up happening, however, is that their valuable natural oils, which ensure the hair’s elasticity, are removed. Result: the lengths and ends of long hair end up becoming very dry and particularly prone to damage and breakage.

Sleep in silk

Another tip that experts insist on, and rightly so, focuses on the pillowcase: The friction of the hair
on the cotton pillowcase during sleep is a major cause of their discomfort,
which is blamed for frizz and breakage (the same goes for rubbing wet hair after shampooing with a towel). Opt for a silk pillowcase that minimizes hair friction – it’s an “investment” that you simply won’t regret
but seeing the difference every morning in the softness of your long hair will make you wonder why you haven’t done it already!
