Yes, whatever you say you are right, pimples are sometimes very annoying!!
Some people get it from ourselves, others from air pollutants, others from stress and others just have acne. Whatever the reason why such a challenge has appeared in your makeup, don’t despair!
There are solutions to be covered!

So let’s take a separate look at what you can do for each possible type of irritating pimple you may be experiencing!

When pimples have a white head

Yeah, yeah, the ones that are about to break. (But don’t do that!) Always start your makeup routine with a clean, hydrated and dry face. In this case you will need a thick consistency concealer in the form of a cream. The wetter and more transparent the concealer, the more difficult it will be to give strong coverage locally on the affected area. This type of concealer is usually found in a jar or stick and not in a tube. Once you have the right product, use a small brush to target the white head and the red area of the pimple. Take great care not to go towards the intact part of the skin, as your makeup may end up dotted. You have to be very precise in your positioning. Ideally, do this step using a magnifying glass. Once you have completed the placement of the concealer, lightly press the pimple with your finger so that it loses some height. Finish by applying a powder with coverage in your skin tone.

When the pimples are red and headless, in the form of a cyst

These headless monsters that can’t be broken (but we said you shouldn’t break them anyway, right?) and can’t be hidden (almost).
So here, you should start by making compresses (cold or hot) depending on what feels best on your skin. An ice cube, always in a towel, relieves the pain. On the other hand, a face towel soaked in warm, but not hot water, kills bacteria. Both can help reduce inflammation and reduce the amount of tumor we have to deal with.

This may sound strange, but stay away from very covery foundations. Instead, use a mixture of a moisturizer with color and a light concealer. You don’t have to try to cover it up completely, as it will never be completely hidden. A heavy product will make it look worse and bigger. The goal is to make it “disappear” into the rest of the skin by giving it a uniform colour with a light product.

When pimples show dryness and peeling

Tough track from wherever you pick it up.. They usually present this form with the use of anti-acne medications and products. The first and main step in this case is to moisturize your face. Then you can, with great care, remove the flakes that have been created before applying your makeup.

The way to do this is as follows:

Start by soaking a soft cloth in warm water and make a compress on your face. Then take a pair of tweezers and start working very gently on the affected area, removing the dry patches. Then moisturize your skin and continue with your coverage.

When the pimples are many and the skin is red (acne)

In this case, there is no point in going to work locally by covering a pimple. However, a Primer with colour or a corrective concealer in shades of green will work wonders in hiding redness. Apply a concealer in yellow tint over it and blot the finishes on the unpainted skin. Avoid using large amounts of powder as the “smeared” makeup will give the opposite effect from the desired one.

When the pimple is gone and has left behind a brown mark.

The red brown marks left behind by acne can be just as annoying as the pimple itself. They also last much longer! Fortunately for us, there are products that can deal with this dichotomy. A full coverage foundation in powder form is often enough.

When you’ve teased it to death

We said it, didn’t we? Don’t tease them! If you did, however, I won’t scold you too much, but let’s see what you have to do now. It is very likely that it no longer looks like a pimple, but has turned into a small sore. The first and most basic thing to do is to clean it with an antiseptic and apply some antibiotic cream. Now as far as coverage is concerned, if you’ve managed to create a dark, hard cap in that area, try this: first apply a very light concealer that’s almost white to neutralize the brown color and then apply a concealer in your skin color on top.

Patience and good creations! We will win!
