Broken edges? Not Me!!!!

I can see you!!!! You’re talking to your friend on the phone, you’ve brought your hair forward, you’re working on your ends and you start cutting them, pulling out the hairs you see broken.

Ouch! I wouldn’t want to be your hair under any circumstances.

I don’t want to upset you but it’s probably been a long time since you should have already visited your hairdresser!

And let me guess! Your hair is not only getting too tangled, but it’s also not getting longer. Right?

Keep reading! You’re on the right track…

Let’s see what it is, how is it created and how is it treated?

Let’s start with the basics. As I guess you already know that the largest percentage of a hair consists of keratin. The reason hair “breaks” is because the keratin is so stressed that it can no longer hold the ends in their proper structure!
The reasons? You’re stressing them so much, they can’t take it anymore!
Thermal tools at very high temperatures, frequent and sometimes daily use, improper brushes for untangling and straightening, not using heat-protective products, not using a softening cream or mask (because it “weighs” them down) are some of the most important reasons.

And I am not mentioning the technical work (dyeing, highlights etc) because in my years of experience the people I have seen incredible split ends are 16-18 years old and most of the time they have not had their hair technically treated. I also have confidence in my colleagues for the way they handle technical tasks and the protective products they use!

The bad news!!!

The only way to remove the scissors is with scissors! Your hairdresser’s scissors though! Not the nail scissors or the paper cutter that goes around the house.
These, unlike your hairdresser’s scissors (which cost hundreds of euros, I should point out), damage the hair and give a worse result!

The good news!

There are ways to clean your scissors without losing length!
(Ask your hairdresser, although I don’t think you’ll mind a little edge tidying in front of the result!)

There is also a special (type) press for this job!

And you won’t believe how quickly they’ll start to get longer once you clean them.

Maintenance!!!!

1.Frequent visits to your hairdresser! At least every 2-2,5 months cleaning the edges.

2.Do you have a “friend” you don’t like that much? Give her your press!!!

3.Hydrate your hair. The main reason your hair breaks is dehydration! Invest in the right, professional products! Get an extra moisturizing mask, which you will use on lengths and ends. Twice a month visit your hairdresser and ask for moisturizing treatments, (trust me you will see a big difference).
Always, before using any heat tool, use thermal protective products!

4. Do horn treatment! It will actually “build” your hair with keratin on the outside and give you a smooth result. You will also save yourself from time-consuming and painful straightening!!!

And enjoy the result!!!❤️
