Air conditioning: if you don’t watch out, it’s bad for your skin!

With temperatures like these, no matter how bad the air conditioner is for our skin, it’s hard to let it go. Air conditioning at home, in the car, at work, on the way to the shops, at the doctor, at the supermarket, in cafes if you are vaccinated and sitting inside…and generally everywhere. Can we survive without it, with temperatures of 37-42?

To make a long story short, let me reassure you that there are ways to be at normal temperatures with your air conditioner and not dehydrate your skin because of it.

According to dermatologists, even a few hours in front of the air conditioner is enough for a dehydrated skin, since the cold air removes all the oils produced by the skin.

The purpose of this useful invention is to keep us at a humidity and temperature that is ideal for our body. Unfortunately, however, this contributes to the dryness of the skin and the appearance of fine lines and first wrinkles.

So we want both air conditioning and beautiful skin. Is it possible? Of course!!!!

Read the 4 tips below

1.Say no to the air conditioner for a few hours

We say all things to the best of our ability.. It is not good to be inside an air-conditioned room 24 hours a day. So get outside, go for a walk to the neighborhood kiosk or a stroll around the block.
At night, if you can bear it, sleep with the balcony door open to feel the natural air. If the heat is still unbearable, turn on the air conditioner, but don’t overdo it.

2. Drink water and eat fruit

First of all, your body needs 1.5.2 litres of water every day. Make sure you drink plenty of water, cool drinks (without sugar) and eat fruit and vegetables, which will give you energy.

3. Hydrate your skin

We hydrated the body, why not the skin? Especially on these hot days you should use your moisturizer, which will have hyaluronic acid, for best results. Don’t forget day and night cream…like a medicine a thing. And in the evening put on a moisturizing body cream with whatever fragrance you like. Your skin definitely needs it. And an extra tip from me to you… your creamsicles are best kept in the fridge in this heat.

4.Rose water, aloe vera and water spray

Spray yourself, you’ll feel better. Find a face mist, refreshing spray in a pharmacy and spray your face, body and hair whenever needed. You will feel the ultimate relief and some hydration will automatically happen. Good options, composition for this purpose, are rose water, aloe vera, or simply special for this job …spray in water.

Pay attention to your hair. To be there in cold and in heat , putting you in the spotlight, they need proper shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and a leave in cream. Ask your hairdresser what you can do either for heatwave temperatures or for protection from the air conditioner.
