There are magical foods, with vitamins and proteins, that if you put them in your diet, you increase your metabolism, burn fat and thus help your body get back to normal. What are they?
First of all I will tell you that it is forbidden to consume too much diet soda, alcohol, sugar, white flour and Omega 6 fatty acids, foods that slow down your metabolism, doing the exact opposite of what we want.
Proper foods to eat are,
Eggs, known for their protein and a staple snack food that you can easily eat to speed up your metabolism. Think of it as either breakfast, dinner or a snack.
Lentils, rich in iron, fibre and protein. A food that can, along with other legumes, cure metabolic syndrome by increasing your metabolism.
Flaxseed, a functional food, which also contains good amounts of fibre and protein, along with essential Omega-3 fats, antioxidants and other essential nutrients. All of these together increase your metabolism. You can eat flaxseed with milk and muesli for breakfast, flaxseed on top of your main meal…even make flaxseed pies.
Whole grains can also be added to your morning routine to help you burn more fat faster.
Chili peppers, if you include fresh or dried chili peppers in your food, according to research, you increase the speed at which your body burns fat, your metabolic rate and you feel a sense of fullness, i.e. you are not hungry.
Pepper, fights bacteria and viruses, enhances kidney function, promotes the production of digestive enzymes and thus activates the stomach, intestines and metabolism.
Ginger, in soups or other meals, is a good idea to increase body temperature, metabolism, control your appetite and kill germs in your body. According to experts, among other things, it lowers glucose levels while increasing high density lipoprotein (HDL) or “good” cholesterol.
Broccoli, because of the glucoraphanin it contains, can help to boost metabolism, reduce blood fat levels and reduce the risk of many age-related diseases.
Green tea, as we’ve said before, tea in general is very good for you. Depending on which one you choose, you will see specific good things in your body. Green tea is recommended by nutritionists as a drink ideal for dieting, since it can increase fat metabolism both at rest and during exercise and thus reduce your body weight and systolic blood pressure.
Coffee, caffeine…. and if consumed in moderation and without sugar or anything fattening like whipped cream, flavour syrup etc., it can increase your metabolism as well as your energy. Decaffeinated coffee does not have the same benefits in terms of metabolism.
