3 things the lockdown taught us!!

The last few months, among other things for industry and business, have been bad, especially as we have never experienced anything like this before. As social people who worked hard and ran our salons for years, communicating with our clients, we have now for a few weeks reopened our doors and are trying to recover mentally, emotionally and financially.
Yes it was a difficult quarantine process and we had many unpleasant and worrying moments, but I always hope there was a glimmer of positivity and we were optimistic about the free time that was created in our lives.

Some of us used their time to learn a new language, cooking, painting and discovered new talents.

Sit there in your salon chair and think… what did you get out of this whole lockdown situation during the pandemic?

1. People are important

We knew that spending time with family and friends is very important and especially when we were forbidden to do so, we understood even more its value.
Now that we’re back to working 12 hours a day 6 days a week, if we get the chance to see a friend, how much easier is it to say yes? These valuable meetings are good for our mental health, so let’s seek them out now, even if we are a little tired.

2. Take time for yourself

Yes, there is no longer enough time, but make sure you live and not just work. We’re back to work, but that doesn’t mean we have to put our favourite book back on the shelf, stop running on the beach, cycling or taking decorating lessons. Keep up your hobbies and whatever makes you happy.

3. Education everywhere

The right hairdresser, in order to be the best, is constantly learning new fashion trends, new haircutting, styling and hair colouring techniques, as well as every product that is available and may need to be used. Yes, nothing can replace face-to-face training, but after our experience, we have found that if you want, there are dozens of webinars, webinars, facebook lives, podcasts and tutorials that can refresh your knowledge and teach you something more. In fact, many of them are accessible 24 hours a day, which makes it easier for you to study at a time that suits you.
A good idea for training is to read books and attend seminars and from business leaders who may be outside your industry.
Do you know how many new ideas and thoughts you can generate in this way?
