You’re hot, you’re hungry and whether you’re at home, at work or even at sea, there are healthy, tasty snacks you can make that will fill you up and give you vitamins and not make you fat!
The nutritionist Faye Georgakopoulou, gave exclusively to hairdressingnews.com her advice and suggestions for cool snacks with few calories and lots of vitamins.
1.Yoghurt with berries or crandberries or any fruit you prefer.
2.Yoghurt with honey.
3. Cereal with yoghurt or cereal bars with the flavour of your choice.
4. Toast or breadcrumbs with egg or salmon and sliced vegetables.
5. Green salads, such as arugula, parmesan, corn, carrot, cherry tomatoes, light dressing.
6.Mini tacos with beans and avocado.
Suggestions for cool drinks, apart from water, which we should drink at least 2 litres a day, according to our nutritionist, are fresh juices, cool fruit smoothies, non-alcoholic beer and wine.
Summer and temperatures like this, without ice cream, it’s impossible. But be careful what ice cream you consume and how much you consume. The ice cream should be light or with stevia.
Some other options for a delicious dessert are sugar-free fruit jelly, toast with tahini or peanut butter and natural fruit.
