New measures may be taken from tomorrow, Saturday 13/11 for Supermarkets.
The current rule of 1 person per 2 square meters is very likely to change to 1 client per 9 square meters.

Following the 6,862 new cases of coronavirus (covid) confirmed today, all indications are that the measures will be formalised.
The Common Ministerial Decision (CMD) is expected to be issued in the coming hours.
The restrictive measure concerns food shops.

The Minister of Development, Adonis Georgiades, said that the possibility of unvaccinated citizens entering supermarkets with a rapid test has been discussed.
But there are serious problems in its implementation.
Many government officials believe that this measure would be practically unworkable.
The reactions are strong both from citizens and shopkeepers.

It is the dramatic situation in hospitals that is tipping the scales of decisions towards restrictive measures for the unvaccinated.
