After a marathon meeting, conflicts and clashes in the committee of experts, the deadlock finally ended and the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Mr. Nikos Chardalias, among other things, announced that there will be no total lockdown in Attica, the primary-schools remain open even in red areas and all retail trade, even the shops that were click in shop, are converted from Monday to Friday to click away. Regarding hairdressers, barber shops, beauty salons, beauty centers, diet services, MOTs and OPAP agencies operate normally with the conditions and measures already in force, from Monday to Friday and are closed on Saturdays!
Attica will be a “dead city” from tomorrow and every weekend, (until the end of the measures) since the curfew is now in force from 6 in the afternoon until 5 in the morning and not from 9 in the evening as it was until today. On Saturdays, only the absolutely “necessary” supermarkets, bakeries, grocery stores, pharmacies and petrol stations will be open from 7am to 5pm.
The same applies to Thessaloniki and Halkidiki!
For the “red areas” of Thira, Mykonos, Patras, Agios Nikolaos and Chalkida, the horizontal level B measures of the health charter apply, i.e. retail trade, hairdressing salons, beauty salons, beauty centres, OPAP, total curfew and high schools operate with tele-education.
