You go to the salon, they wash you, dry you, comb you…. and you have the most gorgeous, soft, shiny hair. You’re snoozing at home, trying to do the same procedure… and yet the result is not the same. What are you doing wrong? Sure the products your hairdresser uses play a role, but is that all?
There’s a reason why when you leave the salon your hair looks and feels incredibly soft. And of course there’s a reason why you can’t possibly achieve the same result at home.
1.Not at high temperatures
You run around all day, taking your time with every detail and when it’s time for your grooming, you try to do everything quickly to get the right result. And I wonder… how will you have it? You’re soaking wet and you want to straighten your hair. Don’t be in a hurry by setting your straightener to 200 degrees. Your hair, unless it’s too curly and hard (see Zulu look), cannot withstand such temperatures. Take your time and you will see that the result will reward you!!!!
2.No touching
You grab them, you grab them again, you untangle them, you braid them, you mess them up, and every awkward moment, you break out in the hairs on your head. Do you know that if you keep touching your hair, apart from looking frizzy, it also looks oily and dirty? All the germs and grease from your hands are transferred to your hair. Is that what you want? No, so don’t touch your hair all the time…leave it alone and use a clean brush or comb as tools if you want to deal with it.
3.Wash your hair whenever your hair needs it
Some say that once a week is enough to wash your hair. Others are of the opinion that it is better to buy a shampoo for regular shampooing and wash them every day. You realize that in this matter, there can be no rules. Everyone’s hair is different and when you wash your hair depends solely on your own hair type and your daily routine. Observe them and you will see that… when you need to take a bath, they will tell you!
4.Sleep with clean hair
Just like our face needs to be cleaned of dirt and makeup before we go to bed…our hair needs to be washed before we go to sleep Going to bed with “dirty” hair full of hairspray, foam and gel is not good at all. Since by lying down and touching your hair to your pillow, they will transfer all these products to your skin, creating unwanted redness and clogged pores.
5. Pressure, bath and towel
This habit of washing your hair and then rubbing it dry with a towel is an unthinkably bad habit. By rubbing your hair you create a serious problem with the hair texture and consequently frizz and hair that you won’t be able to comb and look even. The correct use of the towel after washing your hair is to press it lightly with the towel and then let it dry naturally at first.
