End of the lockdown- Shall we open?

Concerned with the situation of the outbreaks in our country, the infectious diseases experts postponed the meeting of the committee that was to have taken place tomorrow morning, until Friday.
Before opening the market, experts want to be absolutely sure that the pandemic will not spread. However, according to initial information, a slight lifting of the traffic restrictions is expected from this weekend.
Hair salons and beauty centres are said to open this Monday 22 March.

We may be slowly returning to normality, but that doesn’t mean that the rules we have up to now, the masks, antiseptics and distances magically disappear.
The year-long lockdown has grown tired. From this weekend, we will be able to move, (by sending a commute message 6) outside our municipality, using our car or public transport.

The government and infectious disease experts, recognising the needs of citizens to start living normally, are called upon to provide a specific timetable for the gradual resumption of all activities.

From 9 p.m., the ban and on weekends
Until today, on weekends, traffic was banned in most areas from 7 pm and in some areas even from 6 pm. It is now possible that the weekend curfew could be from 9 pm to 5 am, the same as the daily curfew hours.

The salons open this Monday 22 March!

According to the Deputy Minister of Interior Mr. Stelios Petsas, although the final decisions will be made by the infectious disease specialists at Friday’s meeting, “we are gradually moving towards opening from the end of March”. Specifically, he said that “as far as retail will be opened in two speeds, with hairdressers and beauty centres opening this Monday 22 March and on Monday 29 March, shops will also open using the message on the new five-digit number 13032 with either click away or click in shop”.

Experts seem to have decided that there is no serious risk of virus transmission in the salons , and since the last time the lifting of restrictions was initiated and the salons were reopened first, they did not seem to have worsened the course of the pandemic.

However, everything will be decided at the meeting of infectious diseases specialists, where the measures in place to date will be assessed and a timetable for their gradual removal will be decided with a view to returning to normality. The official measures will be announced on Friday at 6pm!!!
