Naturally curly hair

Naturally curly hair: Blessing or curse?
Learn all the secrets to tame your natural curls and steal the show
with the tips you will read in today’s article!

You who have naturally curly hair know that not all days are the same.
Sometimes you hear flattering comments about your hair.
But there are days when you feel like you can’t get around.
What’s wrong?
Certainly a major factor that affects your hair is the humidity of the environment.
But below is the curly haired protocol you need to follow.

Download

The beginning of the perfect curl is in the shampooing.
Yes, you read that right. It all starts with the shampoo you use.
You’ll invest in a good moisturizing curl shampoo that your hairdresser will recommend.
This will cleanse and give you elasticity without weighing down your hair.
Then you will use a curly hair conditioner that you will leave on for at least 5 minutes before rinsing.
This will untangle them and give you lightweight, weightless hair.

Clever tip: Use a cotton t-shirt type cloth rather than a towel to wipe your naturally curly hair.
You will avoid friction and therefore unwanted frizz!

Cockteiling

Those of you who have naturally curly hair will have understood that not only one product is enough to make your curls envious!
I suggest cockteiling.
No, I’m not suggesting you start doing shots!
I suggest using more than one or two products.
One can be a leave-in conditioner and the other a curl shaping cream or gel.
Avoid products containing alcohol because they dehydrate the hair.
So, after shampooing, apply the products with soft movements on the hair, from top to bottom.
A light oil can also help retain moisture in your naturally curly hair until you wash it again.
Make sure that you have distributed the products equally to all hair.
You’ll notice that your curls will have nerve and shine!

Drying

First, you’ll use a blow dryer to blow dry your naturally curly hair.
The air intensity should be in the middle range and not too hot.
Keep in mind that the slower your hair dries, the more beautiful and long-lasting your curls will be.
This way you will avoid frizz and the hair will have an excellent shine.

Haircut

Yes, I know, you’ll complain here, but I’ll have to say it!
I understand that you with naturally curly hair want it to look longer.
However, I insist that we should cut them every 6-8 weeks.
This will ensure that they don’t have tails and gaps.
Avoid single-cut hair because when it dries it will be L-shaped.
I suggest a layered haircut to get more even volume and movement in the hair!

I hope I helped you love your naturally curly hair because I love it too!

With love,
Yannos Mindilonitis.
