Met Gala 2023 : The red carpet appearances!

The Met Gala 2023 took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
So this year the theme of the day was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty”, by the late designer Lagerfeld
who ran fashion houses such as Chanel, Fendi and his own eponymous line and raised funds,
for The Met Costume Institute.

Just as important as the event, of course, is the red carpet, where glamorous guests made their appearance.
After all, the Met Gala is often called the “Super Bowl of fashion” and has also produced some of the most memorable ones,
but also viral celebrity red carpet appearances of the past decade.
This year, A-list attendees were asked to dress in honour of Karl, which therefore meant we saw some customized ensembles as a tribute to Lagerfeld‘s design signatures.

The official co-hosts of the Met Gala 2023 were present including Penélope Cruz, Michaela Coel,
Roger Federer, Dua Lipa and Anna Wintour of Vogue.
The rest of the guest list, a combination of top actors, singers, athletes, models and artists,
appeared in style.
