The hairdressing profession is not only what you obviously imagine.
Just because you get some good products, buy an expensive pair of scissors and open a salon, doesn’t mean you’re an expert at the same time.
Success is not always a given no matter how much you want it.
The secret is in the many canteens of salt (as my grandmother says).
The recipe for success is many small but equally important ingredients that need a lot of precision to produce results.
Accuracy is everything!
Consistency, tenacity, honesty, professionalism, team spirit are some of the ingredients of the recipe.
As in pastry, so here too!
Everything has rules beyond the artistic and free spirit you feel.
To render a shade, to create a new one, to have the confidence and determination, you must have the experience, for better or worse, but also the courage!
So read below some simple tips for the ultimate success of the recipe called COLOR EXPERT:
▪︎Μείνε accurate to the dosages of the company you are working with.
▪︎Μην you are doing alchemy.
(Attention to explosions…)
▪︎Διάβαζε always read the instructions for use of the product.
(the chemists took out their little eyes and little hands to do these ruddy tests and tell you how to use them)
▪︎Άκου technicians.
(If the company can’t offer you training try elsewhere)
▪︎Πήγαινε in the productpresentations.
(It’s not a waste of time as you think. Clearly you know how to go through a dye job, but do you know what new ingredients are coming out? What are the new formulas?)
▪︎Κάνε questions
(nobody knows everything…even me…even you!
Don’t let your pride get to you. We all started somewhere and we still have a long way to go.)
▪︎Πάρε call your salesperson the moment you have a problem.
(You are NOT bothering him. He will find a solution for you immediately.)
▪︎Μην you take the baptismal font lightly.
(Chemistry is not simple!!!!
If the company tells you that X dye needs the Ψ acetate DO NOT use the F because it was just cheaper. You will not get the absolute result.
Would you put butter of dubious quality and origin in your cake?)
▪︎Αν for something you don’t know the solution to, DON’T take it on.
(It is better to have NO than money)
▪︎Μείνε honest with your customers and especially with yourself.
(You definitely want to sleep peacefully at night and you definitely want to go to your hairdresser’s with joy)

(I’m sure you’ll learn something. Yes, to colleagues! Many have countless years of experience and many secrets they want to teach you. Appreciate it! Out of the 100 you hear, keep what you hear, filter, evaluate, tailor it to your needs.)
▪︎ Practice Practice Practice.
(Don’t be on your phone all the time – grab a doll and up your speed and level. No one got better by looking at the ceiling).
▪︎Μην are you ashamed to ask a colleague for help.
(don’t be proud).
▪︎Συνεργάσου with colleagues.
(Teamwork definitely makes you better).
▪︎Μην you get products ofdubious quality and origin.
(It’s your raw material , if the eggs are stale the meringue goes).
▪︎Ζήτησε from the companies you work with to train you continuously.
(You are not here just to buy products).
▪︎Μην you’re acting like a diva.
(Only when you are hungry is it allowed…).
LAST BUT NOT LEAST: LISTEN ! Take your hands out of your ears…
If you don’t do any of the above I’m sorry but ….the recipe can’t work and then you’ll be whining that it’s the crisis…the coronavirus…the universe…God etc…
