Are you stronger when acting alone, or in a team?
Are you a team player or are you afraid of comparison?
I used to be afraid to act as part of a group.
I was avoiding comparison and that’s why I didn’t want to “play” as a team.
But this was the result of my own insecurity about my own potential.
But insecurities and negativity will only take you backwards.
It was my contact with a group that changed my life.
It made me think differently, it made me gain aesthetics, set goals and gave me experiences
the likes of which I would not have lived otherwise.
Since 1995 I am a member of Haute Coiffure Francaise in Greece, the ultimate elite club of hairdressers.
HCF was brought to Greece by the one and only hairdresser Angelos, whom I had the honor to meet during one of our trips to Paris.
In this unique city, which became for me an artistic mother.
With HCF Hellas, every year, for many years now, we travel to the city of light to see
up close unique shows of inspiration and creativity.
We see the new fashion trends and bring them to our country.
In this coexistence I have given my soul and I have taken life.
Through this group I became an instructor, educated myself technically and aesthetically.
I joined it because I wanted to have the opportunity to see in person all those great hairdressers I admired.
I stayed because, as I said above, this team changed my life.
A long march, a long route, a lot of work, fatigue, but always in the end the result justified us.
Our team was built, evolved and today has a new generation with new dreams.
What’s more important than that?
How will the team help you?
When you love your job, you look to the highest rung.
That’s what you’re aiming for and trying to figure out how to become so strong that you get there.
Through the team you will find your personal values, who you are in the end.
Cooperation will give you the noble competition that will be the motivation for your personal development.
Stay positive in your thinking and look for how you can climb even higher.
The team is your other family.
Look at it this way.
No matter how much grumbling and difficulty there may be, there will always be a good result in the end.
Without this second family I would not have achieved many things.
And most importantly: I wouldn’t have known what I’m capable of.
As you can see, I am now a fanatic of teamwork.
Put aside your fears and insecurities and you will see that this is the way forward!
You’ll see these and more in this week’s video on my YouTube channel.
I’m waiting for you in the comments to give me your opinion on the question, team or lone?
