Apart from Attica, today the regional units of Achaia and Evia -except Skyros- have also entered a hard lockdown. According to the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management Nikos Hardalias, because of the epidemiological data that have emerged, 95 cases in Achaia and 56 cases in Evia, had, as he commented to “close” and these areas.
The municipality of Agios Nikolaos, the municipality of Thera and the municipality of Mykonos remain at increased risk.
In these areas, the operation of retail outlets, hairdressing salons and personal hygiene services is suspended. Also, tele-education becomes compulsory for primary and secondary education, while the operation of kindergartens and nurseries is suspended (with the exception of primary education and the kindergartens and nurseries that operate live in the municipalities of Thira and Mykonos, as well as the schools of special education).
Concern is caused by both the increasing trend of cases nationwide, and the reduction of beds in ICUs!

At the level of increased risk the Prefecture of Rethymnon and the municipalities of Kalymnos and Karpathos.
In the “red” areas , from today until February 22, the Municipality of Eordia, the Municipality of Thebes, the Municipality of Tanagra, the Municipality of Sparta,
the Regional Unit of Zakynthos, the Municipality of Pydna-Kolindros, the Municipality of Andravida-Kyllini, the Municipality of Tempe, the Regional Unit of Rethymnon,
the Municipality of Kalymnos and the Municipality of Karpathos.
At the same time, as Mr. Chardalias, the additional restrictive measures are not prolonged in the Regional Unit of Lesvos, as the epidemiological picture of the area has improved. Thus, from Monday 15 February at 6 am, Lesvos will be under surveillance, i.e. in the “yellow” areas.
Also extension of measures until 22 February for Thessaloniki and Halkidiki!
