From blonde to dark easily and quickly

You have blonde or generally light hair and you want to darken or change the colour and shade.
Say for example that you want to make them brown to black or even ginger or copper.
The first and most important piece of advice I have to give you is that you should pay a visit to a professional colorist at the salon.
What will happen there now… If the desired result is up to 2 tones darker than yours then you will have to do a colour tint. This means that an extra colour will be added to your dye mixture to create a uniform result.
Because if the same colour is applied to the root and lengths the colour will come out lighter and maybe have some transparency.

If the colorist is experienced or has attended the colorimetry seminar colormetrics surely knows
exactly what to add and in what quantity.

If the desired colour is now more than 2 tones darker then to achieve uniformity,
an extra procedure, dripping or pre-pigmentation should be done.
Previously this technique was done by mixing dye and water.

Today that has become an evolution of cosmetic salon products too, there is the quick pig

Quick pig is a ready-to-use drip, quick as the name says and very easy to use because it is in spray form.
It is available in 3 shades: Red, orange and yellow.
Each colour corresponds to a specific tone height we want to reach.
For example, if you want to make your hair black up to a 5 tone brown, the red quick pig will be applied.
On tones 6 and 7 the orange and from tones 8 and above the yellow quick pig will be applied.

Apply to faded colors before applying color renewal for :
Revitalization of faded color.
Restoration of natural tones and shades.
Elimination of unwanted nuances.
Enhancement of red, copper or gold shades.
Balancing the porosity for a more even, yet intense colour effect.
Reduction of colour fading.

Come on, don’t worry!
These are things that the professional you trust knows.

Ask him if he knows the quick pig and if not, tell him to contact me and I’ll introduce him to it.
It’s a great tool for his dye shop that will be very useful and will be a great help to him.
