Summer is approaching and is synonymous with sunshine and glamour. Perfect time to shed some light on our lengths. A chance to ask our hairdresser about French Balayage.
And let’s take things from the beginning by explaining
What is Balayage…?????
Balayage is the technique of preserving the natural color of the hair and lightening the hair with the method of drying to highlight the features of the face.The main goal is to give the feeling that the hair has been dried by the sun and the sea. Of course, the colour intensity varies from season to season because the colours that are in fashion play a decisive role. For this technique, the desired effect on the hair is subtle, natural, elegant with visible contrasts…as if the sun has kissed the hair.
French Balayage, is the same color technique with the difference, however, the multidimensional effect, which is achieved by “playing” with different glosses, i.e. with different tones or with different shades for a more intense shine. The result is discreet to sexy, natural and elegant, with visible contrasts for a refined look that only a professional hairdresser can achieve!!!!
In the first part of the color techniques in our 8th episode, in my French Balayage I readjusted the color, created shadow and light works, made glossy color placements to bring shine and reflections.
The advantages of this technique are the natural look, impression of a denser hair mass and long-lasting color that requires little maintenance. It is suitable for normal to fine hair and ideal for women who want a blonde result, refined and natural at the same time.
