Education: why is there so much fuss about it and what does education really mean?

Education! Is it so important to our lives? For our profession?

There are many unanswered questions… But today they will be put in order!

From the moment we are born we are trained for everything. How to talk… how to walk… how to listen… how to listen… how to keep our heads down… how to read, write, observe, etc.

Of course our whole life is an endless source of education

Like driving a car, where at first you timidly start to drive carefully and then do endless miles on automatic (smoking, singing, dancing and talking on your mobile phone).

So it is when you start hairdressing lessons

At first you’ll start gripping the blow dryer and brush wrong. You’ll struggle to lift your shoulders up to comb the top of your head. You will do a paint pass in 45 minutes, to be sure it is properly passed everywhere. You’ll also get a haircut in 1 hour and 30 minutes and you’ll have done a full head analysis, so you won’t have left any part longer.

Of course, after this basic stage of training, you start to understand everything.

But here comes the most difficult part of education

And that’s what Retraining is! The most important part of your evolution. Will you follow the fashion trend or will you remain a very good hairdresser, who just has the right basics and just does the …usual?

Many people are also involved in education afterwards. Because they find it necessary for them to pass on their knowledge to others. Of course, some do it with great success.

To be trained you have to be the person you need to be!
Have the desire and appetite regardless of your age.
Always keep your eyes open and make moves that others may not see.
To see a technique that might come into fashion and you will be the first to be able to do it.
