What are the differences between hair wax and hair paste
Short hair does not exactly equate to easier styling methods, there are many products on the market
such as pomades, gels, powders and many more, it’s hard to know where to turn and what it all means.
Especially when there are so many styling products and most of them are of the same philosophy.
They have a lot of differences between them, but in the eyes of the consumer there are so many and they all look alike.
One of the wisest choices is to decide between wax and hair paste.
These similar products don’t have huge differences between them, but they both offer a supple grip
with only a pea-sized amount.
Sometimes you are able to understand the difference between paste and wax and other times it can seem like a mountain.
Many products, mainly for men, contain a number of variations of these two products,
some are water-soluble and some are not water-soluble.
For a few years now the barber world has more or less made a turn to the haircuts and hairstyles of past decades
and more so in the 50’s and 60’s where the sleek and shiny look was cool.
What is wax and paste and their differences
Unlike smooth gel and shiny pomade, wax and hair paste are non-greasy products,
that mould the hair add texture and definition and give volume usually with a matte finish.
Because they don’t dry completely, both deliver, soft styles that can be re-done throughout the day.
What are the differences?
Candles tend to be lighter while pastes tend to be thicker.
While each paste and wax formula varies as both are versatile
for all lengths and textures of hair, wax is often best for fine hair that needs extra volume.
The heavier pastes are more suitable for curly or kinky hair offering more movement.
So much for wax and hair paste and their use.
It’s definitely a styling material that if you haven’t tried it, you should give it a try because it’s going to blow your mind.
In the end, the differences are not so great.
