The season for Channel was clearly influenced by the new wave of French cinema,
but also the muses of the directors of the era.
A clear source of inspiration was the costumes created by Coco Channel for the film Last Year in Marienbad.
Givenchy’s Spring-Summer Collection 2023 attempted a cultural exchange between France and America,
a fashion channel where both sides echo the influence of Hubert de Givenchy.
Louis Vuitton in a more extra collection, where the theme was the extravagant and the oversized.
Bold volumes, large zippers, all in their excess, attract attention.
