Turkey meatballs from the hands of Jessica Alba

I love Jessica Alba, because besides being a beauty, she is also a good cook… and she makes the best light turkey meatballs I’ve ever had. She had cooked them on Martha Stewart’s show and since then I have duly honored the recipe many times, which I decided to share with you.

Materials:

  • 900 grams of minced turkey (put the breast fillet through the food processor)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of spice mix
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped zucchini
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • Bread crumbs – Jessica uses Panko, a variety of Japanese bread but you get to choose what you want, even toast bread, we won’t spoil it there.

Execution:

  • Shape the meatballs and in a large pan, put some oil to burn.
  • Place the meatballs and bake for 7 minutes.
  • Add half a cup of chicken stock, cover, reduce the heat and let them boil until almost all the stock is absorbed. Add the remaining 1/4 cup of chicken stock and increase the heat.
  • Serve and enjoy without guilt!
