The avant garde has been a great love of mine for years.
The creation of the first avant garde education group is a dream of mine for many years, which seemed unattainable.
And yet the time has come and the creation of the first group is a fact.
The Hairdresser who will follow this training, must have completed as a hairdressing technician and
to be ready for the next step.
This is one characteristic I was definitely looking for in the training participants,
since it would be a very demanding project.
And the entries came in and the group was filled.
Professionals with a track record in the industry, most of whom we have worked with in the past.
End of October 2023. Here we go!
Experiential education begins.
We start with inspiration.
Artistic currents, painters, sculptors, inspiration that passed before our eyes,
before we start working with our hands.
After all, isn’t it always the imagination that awakens first?
Construction materials, crafts, working on combinations, practice to get our hands loose.
In the first 2 units we create, build to get in touch with all these materials
which will be our tools in the third section.
So we have a complete experience, with all the senses.
Third section: So we start to set up what we’re going to create for the magical moment when the whole team
will be on the stage of the Estetica Awards 2024.
All the time the team is trained online, right up to the moment of the meeting.
A meeting in a unique place, in Archanes, Heraklion, in April.
Gathering the team from all over Greece, we put our heads down, we plan, we interact and yes!
We finally know what we want to present to the audience.
The setup of the show “Symbiosis”
The coexistence of man and technology. Evolution or dependence?
The preparation of the team.
Everyone individually works on their construction, but also prepares their stage presence.
As an individual, each one is part of the whole, so uniquely each one, so harmoniously bound the whole.
So the time has come.
Costumes, make up, models, rehearsals.
The 17th of June will definitely be unforgettable!
The Avant Garde Project was a gamble for me and, of course, the Design Art Academy.
Hours of preparation, planning, but as in any artistic activity, a lot of spontaneity, trust in instinct.
The result did me justice!
A special mention deserves to Georgia Bafa, who after so many years of a common and parallel course,
through Haute Coiffure Francaise Hellas, was on my side and that of our team and supported
all this work with her knowledge and experience.
Thanks to my first group for being the beginning of this new path for me educationally and physically,
for a well-deserved response to such a demanding process.
