I’m Eleni, make up artist and I’m not feeling well at all!
No don’t stress, I just love my job and I will be your companion in your makeup adventure.
But let’s get to know each other better.
So before I started my studies on this, many people asked me what made me want to do make up.
At the time I didn’t have an answer to give them, but now I do!
It’s been a part of me since I was a little kid!
I have countless photos of lipstick stained photos that have a funny story behind them.
I’ll show you the least embarrassing one, but don’t laugh.
Later in my teens, I was classically the ugly duckling of the school whenever I had to do something about it,
I started my experiments on makeup with a small mirror and my sister’s cosmetics, borrowed or not!
I realized, of course, as I painted myself, that my confidence was rising and so, I kept going!
That’s what I do now with the women I take on!
I want to stimulate the confidence they have in themselves!
Makeup highlights the features, but confidence takes them off!
But I’m joking too much, I know…
The beginning of the journey
I will tell you about my student years I hope you will be interested I won’t be long, I hope (haha)!
So when I entered the space as a student, I knew for sure that this is where I belonged.
The profession was practical, when there was no place for too many theories, which was ideal!
My parents on the other hand at first had a different opinion, until they saw how much stubborn daughter they have
and they gladly accepted my decision!
One of the “prides” in my resume is a fashion show for Jean Paul Gaultier which I will probably be proud of forever!
Along the way, other jobs came along but it didn’t take me long to realize that the beauty part is what fascinates me in makeup,
as well as TV makeup, where I’ve been working for the last few years.
Another “pride” of mine is also my degree!
In addition to my professional theatrical makeup degree, I hold a Pearson’s degree.
Which has pan-European recognition, an English degree specialising in television make-up.
Of course, the various seminars by Greek and foreign renowned make up artists have contributed to the development,
because our profession is demanding and there is constant evolution.
Beauty is within us, so why not express it?
