Greetings to the crowds of fellow reader friends !
Today I would like to say a couple of things about the internet.
This devil stuff you know…
I can accept many things in terms of different perspectives on the issues of our work.
Each of us has a plan in our minds, a purpose, a program and we follow it.
But every day when I talk to colleagues I get the following question:
“How do you do it, Calliope, with all this social?”
So my answer is simple!
“It has become a habit”
But before it became a habit, I was very involved with all these new things that came into our lives.
And what was the secret? That I wasn’t bored.
I gave time!
I took some of my free daily time and searched the internet and what it can offer me.
I left nothing to chance.
I think that the first advertiser of my work is myself and I have to take advantage of that .
So step by step with a lot of effort I “built” my personal profiles on my facebooks and instagrams etc etc.
So I can’t accept in 2020-2021 pre and post coronavirus season that you haven’t created a business page for your store.
All of us (a 98% for sure!) have personal profiles, right?
Right….
So it’s not that difficult to start taking advantage of all this free money that is given to us to promote our work.
Right?
Right….
Come on, it’s time!
Create a page for your shop, start uploading beautiful, clean and well-lit photos and try to be more interactive with potential customers-friends.
Times have changed….
Gone are the bouzouki and hairstyles 45 times a week!
For better or worse now to establish yourself in the industry it takes:
more work,
more running,
more knowledge and not only about hairdressing.
If we look at the statistics which speak of a large percentage of salons consisting of 1-2 people, which means that the whole burden of work, training and promotion, “sits” on the shoulders of the owners.
It doesn’t take effort, it takes a way.
But it’s still a job.
A job that requires dedication, of course, and time.
So don’t let everyday opportunities go to waste!
Go ahead and take pictures BEFORE and AFTER.
Create a beautiful collage and with your own character and your own writing style, start posting on your page.
Give your character and style to your existing creation.
Get in tune with the times.
Good things are hard won! And who told you that we hairdressers are easy?
There goes what you knew!
Stop the whining and the “I can’t” and one step at a time get ahead of your time.
You want to be one hairdresser among many?
Or do you want to be the one who stands out?
Your watermelon… The knife is yours!
What will happen? Are you gonna start cutting or are you gonna get eaten?
