Additional exemptions from municipal and contributory fees due to Covid for the hairdressing salons of Heliopolis

The Municipality of Ilioupolis has announced a new series of exemptions from municipal and contributory fees for businesses and households.

These exemptions concern businesses that suspended their operations between 6/11/2020 and the expiry of the restrictive measures, as well as households. This is a series of measures that were ratified by the “15/2021” decision of the Municipal Council, with the subject: “Taking measures to alleviate the burden on businesses and households”, following an initiative of the municipal authority.

The exemptions that the Municipality will apply, according to ilioupolinews.gr, concern:

Exemption of a single contributory fee (cleaning and lighting fee) for businesses

Exemption from the Single Retaliatory Tax to all businesses in the city, which were under mandatory suspension in accordance with the relevant EISs and their Activity Code “ID”, as follows:

  • Food service establishments that have been closed since 6/11/2020 are exempt from municipal fees for a period of four (4) months, except for takeaway shops.
  • Gyms, exemption from Municipal Fees for a period of four (4) months.
  • Hairdressing salons, exemption from Municipal Fees for a period of two (2) months.
  • Playgrounds, exemption from Municipal Fees for a period of four (4) months.
  • Driving schools, exemption from municipal fees for a period of four (4) months.
  • Retail sales, exemption from Municipal Fees for a period of two (2) months.

Applications for the exemption of the Reciprocal Fee will be submitted electronically or by request of the person concerned and the presentation of the ID at the Town Hall.
