Drying, do you know how to do it right?
To understand how to do proper blow drying on your hair,
you need to understand a few things about your hair structure.
Hair has a protein substance called keratin.
The same substance that nails have.
It’s a very complicated structure.
Each hair is like a rope within a rope.
There is a protective outer layer known as the epidermis,
which is calcified keratin, which makes it hard as nails.
In the middle there is the cortex which is also made of keratin but is more flexible.
The bark gives the hair its elasticity.
Each of us has between 100,000 and 150,000 hairs on our head, so drying from head to head is different.
Why we shouldn’t let the hair dry on its own.
Do you all think that the best thing for your hair is to let it dry on its own?
Wrong…
In fact this is probably the most harmful thing you can do.
It all starts from the moment you wet the hair.
It changes the molecular structure of the hair as soon as the water drops.
When the water falls on the hair immediately the hair swells, this means that it weakens immediately.
The epidermis acts like roof tiles, with water entering between the gaps.
Drying hair naturally can be more damaging than blow drying.
Hair absorbs up to 30% of its weight in water, the longer it stays wet the more swelling we have
as a result of which the slow drying causes the cellular membrane complex to break and the hair to crack and break.
It is better to dry your hair with a blow dryer.
Do not rub your hair with the towel to dry it.
An important thing to do when you get out of the shower is to dab your hair very well with a towel.
Warning!!!!
No rubbing.
Remove the excess water from your hair without any vigorous movements.
It is also a good idea to leave the towel on your head for a few minutes and it will absorb the excess water on its own.
Rubbing can break up weakened hair as well as different lengths of hair.
Learn to take care of your hair at home, listen carefully to whatever advice your hairdresser has to give you about the proper care of your hair depending on what each head needs.
Don’t forget that you should always use heat protection before blow-drying.
If you follow these little details you will always have great hair.
With love,
