Things have changed a lot and we have to keep up with developments.
The facts are different and unfortunately we can’t always have a last minute appointment at the salon.
I’m not hiding anything from you.
I can’t hide from you that we hairdressers also miss that explosive mood of yours.
You used to call me once and tell me…
– Elizabeth, it’s time for me to make a change! Can I come over and make a mess?
Regardless of whether I was able or had time to make the change I was in an explosive mood… Great feeling!
One day you wanted to do your hair at the last minute because you had an unexpected outing.
The other day you wanted to make a change because you weren’t well.
Or because something new came up in your life and you wanted to renew your appearance!
By now
Now you’re a restrainer… We’re not allowed to be impulsive.
We cannot exceed the permitted number of people.
And you understand… You’re understanding…
You know I want to make the mess we used to make… but I can’t… it’s not allowed…
I miss the “I want it now” even though it was difficult for me many times…
I miss…
I miss your spontaneity… I miss your fire…

Where are the days when you were supposed to come in to refresh the color on your root and leave at night?
You were leaving in the evening because our mood was in the red that day!
And so, because it came to us we thought we’d make a change! We were in a great mood!
We even gave your visit a distinctive name!
“A visit of a renovation nature” And we laughed!
Everybody was looking for you! The phone went off while you were in the bathroom.
Your mom called, your husband, your girlfriend, your boyfriend…
– Are you still at the salon?
And you laughed your heart out. Yeah, you guys, how do you do it? We decided to make a change.
How nice it was!!!!
You know, we artists need that hiccup! Such a beautiful hiccup!!!!
We went into boxes
Today, in the midst of a pandemic, we’re pretty much boxed in…
You’ve become more restrained and I’ve become more organized… we can’t get away with it for long.
Today you call me to ask me if I have an opening next week.
Even though I know you now want to make the change… you don’t tell me… you know I’d want to.
But we don’t want to upset each other…
And when we meet we have the same energy, the same mood.
Just like then! It just happens to be an organized day!
You are happy and cheerful!
You have collected photos, ideas and suggestions!
You’ve got it all bottled up in your head and on your phone.
