Presenting her AW21 collection Victoria Beckham made a post in which she said: “This year we’re doing things a little differently, but isn’t that how it is with everyone?”

And then he explained: “This season we have condensed our pre and main collection by delivering a hybrid collection with a very specific treatment.”

The treatment to which the designer refers refers to the style of her collection, which is inspired by Work From Home, which, as she says, “is the new normal” and invests in comfort dressing that can be worn outside the home in the future. After all, the designer told the Guardian, “our strategy for this year is focused on what’s happening now.”

It should be noted that Victoria Beckham chose to present her collection outside of London Fashion Week – which starts on February 19 – precisely because she wanted to unite her collections and because she believes, as she states, that seasonal calendars seem to be meaningless at the moment “as we don’t know when we will come out of quarantine”.

The AW21 collection

“I like clothes that can be worn, as long as there’s that spark of fashion,” says Victoria Beckham, and her Autumn-Winter ’21 collection is just that: simple and elegant pieces with an emphasis on good taste.

Striped suits, military details such as gold buttons on belts, jackets and shirts, lightweight dresses – transparencies, bright floral, comfortable wide-leg trousers, knitwear and denim pieces are some of the elements that characterize the collection, while the glitter boots that complete many of her outfits are the lavish touch that the designer put on her relaxed, refined proposal.
