Last week the Social Hairdresser of the Municipality of Athens became open for a day,
celebrating the value of volunteering, caring and participation, in an open celebration at Thiseio,
organized by the Reception Centre & Solidarity D. Athens.
The action was supported by L’Oréal Hellas (L’Oréal Professional Products),
along with more than 20 volunteer hairdressers who took care of homeless and needy people,
with little or no access to basic grooming services.
With a firm mission to continuously upgrade the hairdressing industry, but also to highlight its contribution to society,
L’Oréal Hellas Professional Products Division (L’Oréal Professional Products) embraced from the very first moment
the idea of Social Hairdressing Salons.
So from the first one Social Hair Salon in D. Athens, the largest municipality in the country,
and then to the Δ. Chania, the people at L’Oréal Professional Products support
the extension of the institution of the Social Hairdresser, offering to the Municipalities that wish to do so
the appropriate equipment, but also products and by activating the hairdressing community to participate
creating a chain of love and meaningful solidarity.
