The L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Style & Colour Trophy international competition
The grand final of the Style & Colour Trophy took place at the L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Academy in Athens,
on Monday 18 July.
The theme of the world’s longest-running professional hair competition was “French Edito“,
and participants were invited to create their own cover of a premium fashion magazine,
but also exhibit new trends and hair techniques inspired by France,
such as French Balayage and French Glossing.
The contestants had 4.5 hours to come up with the best version of the theme they were asked to come up with,
but also their model to have a complete image with hair, make up and styling.
Hairdressing News secured additional exclusive footage,
from the Style & Colour Trophy Greece 2022 – L’Oréal Professionnel Paris,
as the only news outlet that was there.

These are the six finalists who have claimed a place in the Grand International Semi-Final in September
and will claim a place among the world’s top hair artists are:

The judges of the grand finale, the Style & Colour Trophy, with the help of their many years of experience, managed to highlight,
the big winner, despite their difficult task.
But let’s get to know them!
Natasha Begni, Education Manager at L’Oréal Professionnel Products.
Natasha Begni has been working at L’Oréal for the last 20 years.
It oversees the educational strategy of professional brands,
as well as the transformation of educational content, with the aim of upgrading the sector,
in order to respond to the modern needs of consumers.
She has many years of experience in the field of education and the organization of major artistic events and fashion shows.
She believes in the power of hairdressing to enchant and “transform”.
Stamatis Karaiskos, Artistic Director of Haute Coiffure Greece.
Stamatis Karaiskos has been facing every hairdressing challenge for the last 22 years.
He is also the founder and owner of Sadhu Hair, studied in Greece and abroad.
and over the years he developed his own identity in the field.
Participating in the world’s most famous shows, he creates his own collections every year and provides inspiration,
since it therefore has the most modern techniques.
In addition, he is an ambassador of Kérastase in Greece.
Michalis Pantos, Fashion Stylist
He started his career in 1989, initially as a fashion editor and ended up as fashion director of Vogue Hellas for a decade.
In his professional presence, there are also collaborations with Greek and foreign designers, in domestic and international events such as the Olympic Games, Athens 2004, Eurovision, Mad Walk 1,2,3, Taste the fashion and others.
In addition, he was curator of the exhibition Vanity (Archaeological Museum of Mykonos, Pompei China),
in the project “Cycladic Forms” (Museum of Cycladic Art),
and finally, “Costumes with face” (Benaki Museum).
He was also on the Greek Television Committee of the Runaway project in 2018- 2019.
Eleni Stasinopoulou, Editor of Madame Figaro magazine.
He studied English literature and for over 20 years, he has been a journalist.
After working as Style Editor for the Greek edition of In Style during the period 2003-2011,
actively participated in the first steps of digital journalism in Greece, as Web Editor in Chief,
on the lifestyle sites of Attica Publications Group.
Winners.
All International Finalists will be featured in a special dedicated episode of the Run Le Hair Show.
Finally, the grand winner of the Style & Colour Trophy wins a cash prize of €10,000:
EUR -5.000 for personal mentoring and training,
EUR -3,500 for investment in the development of his business,
-1,500 euros in cash, to be disposed of wherever he wishes.
In the grand final in Greece, of course, there were 4 prizes!
The first place was won by Ioanna Tziga & Leonardos Margelos.
Stefanos Xanthopoulos & Katerina Adamidou took the second place.
The third place was taken by Konstantinos Souvatzis.
And finally, the audience award was given to Stefanos Xanthopoulos & Katerina Adamidou.
