The Style & Colour Trophy, which has been held since 1954, is well known to professional hairdressers
as the most important and longest-running competition in the world.
Every year, this global competition is a unique opportunity for all hairdressers to showcase their creative and technical skills.
Today, the Style & Colour Trophy initially gives hairdressers the opportunity to be recognised as the best of the best on a global level.
What makes the competition stand out is the fact that hairdressers are asked to completely curate the hair and are assessed
for the whole look they create: including haircut, colouring and styling of the hair.
Mission of L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, the leading brand in the industry for over 110 years,
is to discover and promote talents from the hairdressing industry.
Through digital technology, this international competition showcases the expertise and role of the brand
to support and upgrade the hairdressing sector.
The Greek Final
Hundreds of hairdressers responded to the call of L’Oréal Professionnel and registered for the Greek competition.
The theme of this year’s Style & Colour Trophy was “French Edito”.
The big winners were Ioanna Tziga & Leonardos Margelos who created a modern but glamorous French Balayage
in unkempt hair, impressing the judges with the technique and the flawless result.
The duo managed to distinguish themselves up to the International Semi-Final, representing our country with a result of high standards.
A renewed digital competition, open to all:
For the second consecutive year, the legendary competition opens its doors to the world, beyond the professional community,
inviting everyone who is passionate about hair to vote for their favourite look from those that will be presented on stage.
Participants will be judged by renowned professional hairdressers, specialising in different subjects such as colouring and styling,
a beauty & fashion journalist, as well as a beauty expert.
