What is steaming and how can steaming improve our hair?

Read my article today and give yourself a gift! In addition to fighting dryness and breakage, it will revitalize your hair! By Hair Expert, Yannos Mindilonitis.

What is Steaming, the steaming of hair and how do we apply it?

Steaming is the process in which we use the power of steam to hydrate and penetrate the hair shaft with treatments. After the salon client lies down in the bath, we place a steaming machine on the back of the head.(Like what estheticians use for facial cleansing). We wash the hair with a mild shampoo, rinse and proceed with the treatment. This varies and changes according to the hair’s needs. For example, we can apply a conditioner to hair that needs moisturizing. There, steaming will open up the scales of the hair, allow the conditioner to penetrate and give us super moisturizing hair! Hair will gain elasticity and shine, just like that of Hollywood stars!

But we also have the ability to clean the hair from styling product residues, dead cells and dirt. It also helps to improve blood circulation. And as we had seen in the article Hair health with steaming, that is, the steaming, you will stimulate the circulation and you will see health in your hair!

What is the frequency of steaming

Once every 7-10 days is enough to keep your hair moisturized. The time the client spends in the bath varies from case to case. Generally, 15-20 minutes is a good time to shine dull and limp hair. For very curly and dry hair we can steam for 30 minutes. For silky, silky hair with velvety texture and elasticity! But for men, it can nourish the root, fight dandruff and soothe irritation. Of course we can enhance all these with the help of oils such as almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil and many more. But we’ll talk about that in the next article!

Give your hair the gift of atomisation and it will offer you charm and a wonderful shiny look! Contact the Hair Expert you trust and indulge in precious steaming.

With love for your hair, Yiannos Mindilonitis.
