Reflection or massage or toner? We are talking about the same process which can give us many, many different results. To correct or stimulate us nuances. To give us shine to a dull shade, but also to make any failures during dyeing or decapage disappear.
We are talking about one of the most important tasks in the salon.
Its uses? Multiple!
Let’s look at them in a little more detail.
-Color correction…
After decapitation. We are talking about a pigment neutralizing or toning tool.
Our favorite decapage, as we have said in previous articles, what it does is to “break” whatever pigments come its way, artificial or natural.
Result? To highlight the backgrounds (red, orange, yellow) depending on the level of tone we decide to remove it from the hair. The relay, in this case, will help us to neutralize the warm tones.
-Maintaining the desired shade.
With washing we lose pigment, especially if we don’t use an acidic shampoo (which helps to keep the scales of the hair closed and make the colour last as long as possible).
We are talking about a process that should be repeated every 8-10 washes so that we always have a perfect color in our hair.
-Freshing in lengths and edges from dye to dye.
During the month and for the reasons we have already mentioned we have pigment loss.In this case the toner will refresh the color and make it as shiny and vibrant as the first day of dyeing.
-Change of unwanted color after dyeing.
In case something is wrong with the color or due to a miscommunication with the client we can easily neutralize or emphasize the color within a few minutes (e.g. the chocolate color the client wanted it a little more acacia. This can be easily corrected in the bath with a reflex).
As you can see, we are talking about a multi-tool that is a great help to us.
