L’Oréal Professionnel, the leading brand in professional hair care, was the official hair sponsor at the 31st anniversary Athens Xclusive Designers Week , held 13-16 November at the Athens Conservatory.
L’Oréal Professionnel in collaboration with 10 leading hairdressing groups in Greece,
she was in charge of the hair styling for all the fashion shows.
Inspired by the collections of the designers and the participating brands, the talented hair experts
created unique hair looks that highlighted the style, aesthetics and artistic vision of each designer.
One of them was the MOD’S Hair salons that curated the models dressed by designer Ioanna Kourvela.

A few words about MOD’S Hair salons.
The history of mod’s hair starts in 1968.
Two brothers, Guillaume and Frederic Berard, both young hairdressers, decided to create a group of
who would only work in studios and only for fashion magazines.
The profession of hairdresser-stylist, the hairdresser who would only comb in studios, was born.
Their meticulously sloppy creations immediately captivated the entire women’s magazines.
Since then and until today the chain -now- mod’s hair has been evolving and growing at a fast pace.
Its presence is strong in the fashion industry on all 5 continents with over 500 salons.
In 1994 Kirykos Vassiliadis, an experienced hairdresser, with an intense and long-lasting activity in Greece and abroad,
brought the name mod’s hair to our country.
This is how the first hairdresser’s shop in Athens was inaugurated.
At AXDW the team created stunning hair and styled it with creations by designer Ioanna Kourvela.
