Vassilis Serafetinidis and Nina Kavvatha are the owners of Joy’s Birth barber shop, in the heart of Athens.

The two of them are ambassadors of the classic and that’s exactly what they do in their shop.
Their motto is classic never die and they believe that classic shapes will be the ones that will make the world a more beautiful place.

Joy’s Birth has a training school where IEK graduates can learn the art of classical from the right people.
As they told us, it’s about one-day, two-day or even three-day seminars that teach exactly what they do in their shop.
Due to the great interest in this genre, Joy’s Birth, are considering to transform the post-graduate training,
to a complete school, which can be started from scratch, by people who embrace this style.
Besides, as Nina told us, it is important to wake up in the morning and not feel like you are going to work, but at home.
This of course requires that you love what you have chosen to do.

What Vassilis and Nina also emphasized is the importance of travelling,
