Especially in busy periods, such as the one that has already begun, we all look for inspiration for creativity and new images.
This is the reason why I accepted the invitation of the Association of Hairdressers of N. Heraklion, for an Inspiration Day!
Associations give us a sense of belonging and if they are active in their activities, then we all have a lot to gain from our participation in them.
They benefit the community and provide an opportunity to interact with colleagues with the same concerns and worries as ours.
The new Board of Directors of the Heraklion Association is already trying to offer its members actions and experiences that will bring us closer together as colleagues and help us in our work.
Inspiration Day was a proposal from them, which I gladly accepted.
An afternoon of inspiration and ideas for all the colleagues who honoured us with their presence. Suggestions for haircut, hairstyle and bridal options that will give us more arrows for our quiver. In this way, we get out of the ordinary and do not fall into the trap of constant repetition in our results.
So we aim for contemporary hair, commercial images that make our work stand out and break away from the ordinary.
That’s what we’re all looking for. Not staying the same, but moving forward. It is the nature of our work that leaves us no room for rest. Because if we leave it, it will leave us. We owe it to our customers and to our creative side to keep looking for that something that will take us one step further. That will evolve us.
An afternoon of inspiration!
Participation in Inspiration Day exceeded our expectations and I feel grateful to the colleagues who honoured me with their presence on Sunday afternoon. Their enthusiasm was great and I am already looking forward to the next time we will meet again artistically.
At this point I must thank for their contribution to the realization of this evening, the brand Dantee.gr and Men’s Fashion Kontogiannis, for offering the clothes of our models. Also, Kryolan Heraklion who did the make-up.
Finally, to thank the Board of Association of Barber Barber Shopkeepers of N. Heraklion for the confidence they always have in me.
