Have you found your fingerprint?

I was one of those hairdressers who only did for my clients what I wanted!
I wanted my client to have style and character and I did it without fail. I wanted to leave my imprint!
I would say, “I know what you need and I’ll fix it right away!”

But in reality 80% of the clients liked me to decide for them, they liked the changes and the original styles but… there was also a 20% who wanted to kill me!

I always felt like an artist, I saw everything as a work of art. Because of this, evolution came quickly. I never went with logic, only with emotion.

The heads I made stood out in my town. A lot of particular styles and so they understood that the image was my creation. They had my fingerprint.
With effort and many experiences in the hairdressing industry as a hairstylist, I have acquired the necessary professionalism now ,I have changed the way I treat the client and above all, I will listen to her needs and desires.
Yes artist but also professional, listen to what the person opposite you has to say. Have the talent, the way and the knowledge to give him your best, your art and create something unique for her to make her happy every day.

Surely time brings professionalism. No one came with experience.
Experience helps you create your own identity, time, friction and investment in knowledge.

Mistakes will always happen. But you have to understand them so that you don’t repeat them.

Inspiration at the moment of the photo shoot!

I will tell you about my experience with this photo shoot. I have been drawing images, making avant-garde photographs for many years because I want to express myself as artistically as I can. This way I separated the artist from the professional hairdresser and somehow the clients were spared!
I started with finding this lovely model, continued with designing hair for her and made 3 different constructions. One week I was doing hair…
I went to the photo shoot. I just grabbed her hair, just untied the ponytail she had and touched her beautiful afro natural hair…
It was the moment when the winged love, the shining inspiration came and said to me:
“Don’t put anything on, just do something with these so beautifully natural. They are beautiful, don’t interfere!”

I heard the hair, saw the angles of her face and the magical moment of creation shook my hands!

The constructions I had made stayed in the transport box, we never used them.
But I am sure that their moment has not yet come.
Even in the model, in an organized process, I combined art with professionalism. The knowledge helped me to create a unique piece of artwork, which fits the model I had the pleasure of holding in my hands!

Conclusion:
We are artists and we have to create for our clients works of art, unique but always based on their needs. Guided by professionalism, to suggest their ideal style and to design as stylists and give our own touch. It will become a work of art each time, leaving our signature and our imprint on them.

Your footprint is the style and aesthetic that makes you stand out.

Have you found yours?
