From today and until the epidemiological burden is reduced, private sector workers employed in retail, catering, financial and insurance activities, transport, cleaning services, hairdressing, hairdressing salons, hairdressing salons, beauty salons, gambling and betting services and driving schools are required to carry out a self test twice a week.

Supply self test

According to the relevant announcement of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the supply of self-tests will be carried out as follows. One of these will be provided by the employer and covered at his own expense, while the second will be provided free of charge by the pharmacy upon presentation of the employer’s social security card and identity card or any other identification document.

Employer-provided self-tests are available in pharmacies from today and employees can obtain them from Thursday, 13 May.

COVID-19 tests declaration platform in the “ERGANI” programme

The results of both tests should be declared in the COVID-19 tests Declaration Platform in the “ERGANI” P.S., by completing the special form “Employee Declaration of COVID-19 TEST result recording”.

During the current week, i.e. from 10 to 16 May 2021, the competent auditing bodies of the Labour Inspection Body (SEPE) responsible for the implementation of the aforementioned Decree will provide relevant information on the implementation of the Decision to employers and employees during on-site inspections carried out as part of their auditing work.
