Farcom Professional sponsors the Social Hair Salon of the Municipality of Thessaloniki

Inauguration of the Social Hair Salon of Thessaloniki, with the support of Farcom Professional

Our city welcomed a new chapter of solidarity and care,
with the inauguration of the Social Hairdresser of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, which took place
on Wednesday 20 September at Irini Street, where the new structure is located.

The Social Hair Salon, which was implemented with the full support of
Farcom Professional , is an initiative of the Municipality of Thessaloniki that aims to take care of homeless and needy citizens, offering free grooming services such as haircuts, shampooing and hairstyling.
The Social Hair Salon will operate exclusively with the contribution of volunteer hairdressers,
whose contribution will be invaluable to its success.

Farcom Professional, with faith and dedication to its social role, supports once again initiatives
promoting social welfare, expressing its full commitment to actively support the new structure.
Undertook the reconstruction of the space, the equipment and the supply of the necessary products
for the operation of the Social Hair Salon, creating a hospitable, fully functional space,
to welcome and serve vulnerable people in the community.

In the context of the inauguration of the new structure, Farcom Professional honored the initiator of the idea
Anastasios Stavropoulos (Anber), in recognition of his contribution to the Social Hairdresser‘s
the promotion of volunteering, but also of social contribution.

The Social Hair Salon of the Municipality of Thessaloniki is dedicated to the memory of the late George Sarasidis,
founder of FARCOM PROFESSIONAL, who for more than 50 years has actively supported the hairdressing community,
while its name continues to reflect the spirit of solidarity and dedication to society.
